Job summary

WES is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the UK water sector. You will lead contractual, financial and commercial activities across projects and frameworks and mentor a team of surveyors. Occasional travel to other offices is required.

You should hold a RICS qualification and have proven QS experience, with NEC contract knowledge considered a plus. A UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• RICS recognised qualification (or equivalent) in Surveying/Construction/Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Experience in Quantity Surveying and NEC contracts beneficial.
• Ability to delegate to and manage a team of commercial staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee contractual, financial, and commercial activities of projects and frameworks.
• Lead a team of surveyors to ensure best practice and delivery of key milestones.
• Prepare, develop and analyse framework-wide commercial reports.
• Track payment status of projects and notify on performance and risks.
• Travel to other offices as required.
