Job summary

WES, part of the RSE Group, is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage and oversee contractual, financial, and commercial activities across projects and frameworks in the water industry. You will lead a team of surveyors and ensure best practice and key deliverables are met, with occasional office visits.

The role involves pre-award activities, procurement strategy, and framework reporting, with travel to other offices as required.

Qualifications

• RICS recognised qualification in surveying, construction, civil or structural engineering.
• Proven quantity surveying experience.
• Experience in setting commercial strategies, procurement, cost/value reporting.
• NEC contracts experience is beneficial.
• Ability to lead and delegate to a commercial team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Support tender reviews, risk/value analysis and procurement strategy advice.
• Manage a portfolio of projects and frameworks from pre-award to completion.
• Prepare and analyze framework-wide commercial reports for internal and client use.
• Track payment status of projects and programmes.
• Notify QS of performance, identify risks and opportunities; perform other duties.
