Job summary

Fulkers Bailey Russell is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Private Sector team. You will lead the commercial management across complex, large-scale projects including data centres, defence, office and retail sectors, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

You will mentor junior surveyors, manage cost plans and procurement, and maintain high client satisfaction while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Chartered accreditation with experience in construction.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring of junior staff.
• Ability to manage complex projects through full lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead production and management of cost plans, life cycle costing, cash flow forecasts and benchmarking.
• Oversee procurement, tender documentation, BOQs, pricing and tender evaluation.
• Manage contract negotiations and act as client liaison through pre- and post-contract stages.
• Administer contracts as Contract Administrator/Employer's Agent and oversee post-contract duties.
• Manage interim valuations, cost reporting, change control, and final accounts.
