Job summary

Bellrock Group seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its Bellrock Consulting team in Leicester on a hybrid basis. You will oversee the commercial delivery of diverse construction and property projects, from feasibility through to completion, managing costs, risks and client relationships.

You will prepare cost plans, procurement strategies and contracts, lead negotiations, mentor junior surveyors and contribute to business development.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• MRICS qualification or working towards chartership.
• Strong experience in cost planning, procurement, contract administration and financial management.
• Experience with JCT and NEC contracts.
• Ability to lead meetings and manage client relationships.
• Proactive, organized with attention to detail; mentoring junior surveyors.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the commercial management of multiple projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
• Prepare cost plans, feasibility studies, tender documentation and procurement strategies; manage contracts, valuations, variations and final accounts; work with JCT/NEC.
• Build strong relationships with clients, contractors and project teams; lead commercial discussions and manage expectations.
• Mentor and support junior surveyors; contribute to business development and growth.
