Job summary

Mace seeks a seasoned professional to lead commercial management on a Peterborough-based project. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams from concept to construction, align with client objectives, and drive integrated delivery.

With NEC4 PSC expertise and a strong background in infrastructure or water projects, you will manage risks, interfaces, and contractual obligations while promoting BIM and digital delivery to meet governance and quality standards.

Qualifications

• NEC4 PSC commercial management experience required.
• Strong background in infrastructure, water sector or major programmes.
• Knowledge of cost management, CE assessment, defined cost and fee mechanisms.
• Experience within consultancy environments.
• Detail-oriented with strong contractual and analytical skills.
• Proactive, collaborative and able to operate in fast-paced programme environments.
• Degree or master's in quantity surveying, Commercial Management, or similar.
• Professional membership (preferred): RICS, CICES, CIArb or equivalent; NEC4 accredited or trained (highly desirable).

Responsibilities

• Managing and coordinating multidisciplinary design teams from concept through to construction.
• Ensuring client requirements, project objectives and design standards are achieved.
• Managing design risk, interfaces, approvals and stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborating with commercial, procurement, programme and construction teams to drive integrated project delivery.
• Monitoring design progress, performance and key deliverables.
• Supporting innovation, BIM and digital delivery initiatives.
• Ensuring compliance with governance, statutory and quality requirements.
