Job summary

Enable Group is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial management of multiple UK water sector projects. You will own contracts from tender handover to final account and drive value, risk management, and robust reporting.

You will manage budgets, forecasts and subcontractor packages, lead discussions with clients and subcontractors, and push continuous improvement across the commercial function within a growing infrastructure business.

Qualifications

• Experience across construction, engineering, utilities or infrastructure projects.
• Strong financial, analytical and reporting skills.
• Good understanding of contract administration and commercial controls.
• Ability to lead commercial discussions with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Proactive in identifying risks, opportunities and cost-saving initiatives.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects.
• Collaborative with operational, procurement, finance and delivery teams.
• Commitment to high standards and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Own projects from tender handover through to final account.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, cost reporting and financial performance.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities with mitigations.
• Administer contracts and manage subcontractor packages.
• Prepare and negotiate subcontract agreements.
• Manage variations, compensation events and change control.
• Produce accurate commercial reports and forecasts for stakeholders.
• Support operations with cost awareness and best practice.
• Oversee subcontractor accounts, payments and final accounts.
• Ensure governance procedures are maintained.
