Bridges Electrical Engineers is hiring a Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor to provide commercial support across delivery teams. The role requires NEC4 experience, strong Excel skills, and ability to manage contracts and reporting in a hybrid UK setting.

Based at HQ with flexible regional options, the candidate will travel to client sites, support procurement, and drive continuous improvement in commercial processes while ensuring health, safety and sustainability in decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in QS environment with NEC4 contracts.
• Able to read and understand project scope documents and drawings.
• Advanced MS Excel skills and reporting proficiency.
• Full UK driving licence and own transport.

Responsabilités

• Review, negotiate and finalise awarded contracts to secure a commercially advantageous position.
• Compile accurate monthly reporting to meet deadlines.
• Manage project invoicing reflecting progress and contractual entitlements.
• Oversee change control, variations, and final accounts with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor expenditure, budgets and cost forecasts to ensure value for money.
• Set up client contracts and subcontracts to ensure timely access to information.
• Support procurement activities including tender evaluations and supplier negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, governance and legislation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of commercial processes and reporting tools.
• Incorporate health, safety and sustainability considerations in commercial decisions.
