Kier Group is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the STEP Programme team based in West Burton. This hybrid role offers exposure to package proposals, delivery, and governance within Kier Nuvia JV, focusing on profitability, cash flow and value for money.

You will support project teams with commercial guidance and risk management. You will be responsible for cost forecasts, budgets, and NEC4 contract administration, while building strong relationships with subcontractors to ensure

Qualificações

• Significant experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within major infrastructure, energy, nuclear, defence or complex construction projects.
• Experience managing complex subcontract procurement and commercial package management.
• Thorough understanding of the NEC suite of contracts.
• Strong cost planning, forecasting, and reporting capability with negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage risk, change and contractual entitlement in a structured and auditable manner.

Responsabilidades

• Supporting delivery of programme commercial objectives, profitability targets, cost certainty and cash performance
• Administering contracts in accordance with NEC4 forms of contract, including compensation events, quotations, early warnings and change control
• Managing subcontractors from procurement to final account, including preparation of tender documentation and establishing collaborative relationships
• Developing and maintaining detailed cost forecasts, cost-to-complete assessments and commercial performance reports
• Identifying, evaluating and managing commercial risks and opportunities across assigned packages
