Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor for our Leeds office. You will join the Cost and Commercial Practice, delivering pre- and post-contract commercial management on diverse projects across the UK.

You will collaborate with leadership, manage costs, provide reporting, and support procurement and contract administration while mentoring junior staff. A UK driving licence and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar.
• Chartered member of the RICS or working towards chartership.
• JCT, NEC contract experience.
• Preferably experience as Employer's Agent as well as traditional QS duties.
• Residential and/or Industrial/Manufacturing experience is beneficial.
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel UK-wide.
• Predominantly based in the Leeds Office.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client teams and leadership to maintain relationships.
• Estimate, monitor and control project costs pre- and post-contract.
• Provide regular financial reports and update on performance and risk.
• Undertake procurement or support procurement in contractor selection.
• Administer contract types and ensure compliance and timely submissions.
• Act as Employer's Agent, coordinating stakeholders through the project lifecycle.
• Identify, analyse and mitigate commercial risks and support value engineering.
• Support and manage junior QS staff.
