Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Leeds seeks Quantity Surveyors/Senior Quantity Surveyors to deliver varied projects across residential, education, commercial, and industrial sectors. You will work with leadership to meet commercial targets, manage risks, and maintain project controls while based in the Leeds office.

The role emphasises pre/post-contract duties, Employer's Agent experience, and collaboration with client teams. UK travel and chartered status are advantageous.

Qualifications

• BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent required.
• Chartered membership or progression towards chartership encouraged.
• Strong knowledge of pre/post contract QS duties (JCT/ NEC).
• Experience as Employer's Agent desirable; UK driving license and travel willingness.

Responsibilities

• Collaboration with client teams, leadership, PMs, and contractors to maintain relationships.
• Cost management: estimate, monitor, and control project costs pre and post contract.
• Provide regular financial reporting and risk updates to clients.
• Procurement support and contractor/vendor evaluation and appointment.
• Administer various contract types and manage change control and records.
• Act as Employer's Agent, coordinating programme, cost, quality and risk.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks; support value engineering.
• Mentor and supervise junior quantity surveying staff.
