Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager to join the London & Southeast Cost Management team. You’ll own defined workstreams, deliver high-quality cost management services and develop client relationships across diverse sectors, with hybrid working across London, Tunbridge Wells, Epsom, and Oxford.

You will progress toward Senior Quantity Surveyor / Senior Cost Manager by collaborating with senior staff, managing smaller commissions and gaining exposure to larger

Qualifications

• Experience delivering quantity surveying or cost management in consultancy, client-side or contracting environments.
• Understanding of pre-contract and post-contract cost management with cost plans, estimates and reports.
• Working knowledge of UK contracts (JCT/NEC).
• Strong numerical, analytical and commercial skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver QS/cost management services across all project lifecycle stages, incl. feasibility, cost plans, cash flows and commercial reporting.
• Prepare and review measurements, BOQ, schedules of work and tender documentation; support procurement.
• Manage project costs during delivery: valuations, forecasting, change control, final accounts and invoicing; provide contract administration.
• Identify risks and opportunities; attend client, consultant and contractor meetings; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
