Job summary

Aldwych Consulting is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team on a major Heathrow project. The role is based on site, delivering robust commercial performance from delivery through to final account.

You'll own the commercial management of the project, manage budgets and forecasts, lead valuations and variations, and mentor junior team members while building strong client and subcontractor relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor in construction.
• Experience with main contractors or specialist subcontractors.
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
• Experience managing subcontractors, valuations, variations and cost reporting.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the commercial management of the project/package
• Manage project costs, budgets, forecasting and overall commercial performance
• Lead valuations, variations and applications for payment
• Mentor junior members of the commercial team
• Drive final account negotiations and client/subcontractor relations
