Job summary

Aldwych Consulting is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor in Swanley, Kent, to take commercial responsibility from pre-construction to final account and to manage budgets, forecasts and contract administration.

You will work with the project team, use JCT contract knowledge, and aim to lead the commercial team in the future in a permanent, full-time role.

Strong communication with stakeholders and a track record on high‑value projects will be essential.

Qualifications

• Experience within a main contractor environment.
• Strong contract knowledge, particularly JCT forms.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Take commercial ownership of projects from pre-construction through to final account.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and cost reporting.
• Administer contracts in accordance with JCT terms and manage variations.
• Prepare, review and manage applications for payment and final accounts.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities and support dispute resolution.
