The successful applicant will manage commercial and contractual matters and supervise surveyors or assistant surveyors on the allocated work.

Responsibilities include assessing main-contract conditions and subcontract packages, identifying tender risks and examining value-engineering opportunities. During delivery, the surveyor will maintain site records, prepare monthly valuations and commercial reports, analyse costs and check subcontract payments. Subcontract scope, measurement, supporting records, liabilities and accruals form part of the role, alongside tracking warranties, parent-company guarantees and bonds.
