Due to our continued growth and expansion, we are currently seeking a dedicated Senior Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in our organization, ensuring the successful management and control of all financial aspects of our projects. You will liaise with clients from a construction background, pitch for new business, and provide accurate costings, manage budgets, and maximize profitability. You will collaborate closely with our project management and estimating teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit detailed cost estimates and budgets for painting and decorating projects.
• Conduct thorough cost analysis to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
• Monitor project progress and financial performance, addressing variances or issues promptly.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to negotiate and finalize contract terms and pricing, while actively pitching for new business opportunities.
• Evaluate and assess contract documents, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
• Prepare and submit interim valuations and final accounts.
• Assist in procurement, including the selection and appointment of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Provide regular financial reports and updates to senior management.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the painting and decorating industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost analysis.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
