Job summary

EGIS UK is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support project managers and clients from concept through to financial close on high voltage energy projects in the UK. You will manage commercial aspects, procurements, and contract administration using NEC3/NEC4 and occasionally FIDIC.

You will work within a multi-disciplinary team on hybrid on-site roles in Murton, with travel as required, ensuring cost controls, risk management, and value for money across a varied project portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience managing NEC3/NEC4 contracts in energy/utility projects.
• Strong cost control, reporting and procurement skills.
• Effective communication with clients, suppliers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external parties.
• Support commercial contracts and provide risk guidance.
• Lead procurement activities and tender analyses.
• Assist with Early Warnings, Compensation Events and PM communications.
• Manage cost reporting and ensure payments are justified.
• Support risk and contract management meetings.
