Job summary

EGIS is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support project managers and clients through concept, design, delivery and financial close. You will handle commercial contracts, risk management and procurement for variegated projects, including high voltage substations, with NEC and FIDIC forms.

Hybrid on-site role in Murton, UK, with 40-hour weeks and travel as required to meet project needs. You will contribute to cost reporting, governance, and value for money while maintaining high quality

Qualifications

• Experience with NEC3/NEC4 and FIDIC contracts.
• Excellent cost reporting, budgeting and cashflow forecasting.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel and own car required.

Responsibilities

• Support project managers and clients from concept to financial close.
• Establish commercial contracts and provide risk guidance.
• Undertake procurement activities and tender analysis.
• Prepare early warnings, compensation events and project communications.
• Monitor expenditures, ensure payment accuracy and value for money.
• Assist with contract pricing feedback and reporting to stakeholders.
• Attend progress meetings and ensure programmes are realistic.
