Job summary

Kenton Black are recruiting an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor / Managing Quantity Surveyor to join a specialist contractor on a flagship data centre project in Northumberland. You will lead commercial delivery across major substation and infrastructure packages, reporting into project leadership and working closely with clients, consultants and supply chain.

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Quantity Surveyor or Managing Quantity Surveyor on large construction/infrastructure projects.
• Substation and critical power experience is highly advantageous.
• Experience with Tier 1 contractors or similarly established specialist contractors.

Responsibilities

• Commercial management of major substation and infrastructure packages.
• Subcontract procurement and management.
• Cost reporting, forecasting and cash flow.
• Change management and valuations.
• Commercial risk and opportunity management.
• Contract administration.
• Final accounts and commercial close-out.
• Support and develop junior commercial team members where appropriate.
