Job summary

Calibre Search is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a major data centre project in East London. You will focus on energy and utilities packages, managing complex commercial elements and NEC contracts on-site 2–3 days a week.

You will lead cost plans, valuations and procurement while mentoring junior team members and coordinating with clients and design teams on large-scale infrastructure. Salary negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of NEC contracts and related processes.
• Proficiency in CostX and MS Office for cost management and reporting.
• Experience managing utilities packages (power, fibre, drainage, civils).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication with clients, contractors and design teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage detailed cost plans, budgets and forecasts.
• Manage valuations, variations and change control throughout the lifecycle.
• Produce monthly cost reports and commercial updates for senior stakeholders.
• Provide commercial leadership and mentoring to junior QS team members.
• Lead procurement and tender processes for utilities and infrastructure packages.
