Job summary

Kenton Black is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor for a pivotal Glasgow-based role with a leading international main contractor. You will oversee commercial delivery on major infrastructure and energy projects, driving value, managing risk and ensuring contractual compliance.

The role offers opportunity to work on high-profile substations, MEP, data centre and BESS projects, with clear progression within a growing organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience on major construction or infrastructure projects with recognised contractors.
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
• Proven cost reporting, forecasting and financial management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial delivery of major construction and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare, administer and monitor subcontract packages, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Produce cost reporting, forecasting and cash flow analyses.
• Monitor budgets, identify risks and opportunities, and maximise value.
• Support procurement and subcontractor negotiations, and manage change control.
• Collaborate with project teams to achieve commercial and operational objectives.
