Job summary

Matchtech's client, a leading consultancy in the data centre sector, seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor with substantial experience in FIDIC Yellow Book contracts to join a major Data Centre project in Slough.

You will manage commercial administration and the project lifecycle from inception through final account settlement, including contract administration, cost reporting, variations, claims, and risk management, on a large-scale, high-profile program.

Qualifications

• Experience in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management on major projects.
• Significant experience administering projects under FIDIC Yellow Book.
• Background in infrastructure, energy, utilities or industrial sectors.
• Proven track record managing projects valued over £50m.
• Strong experience in variation management, claims assessment, and contract administration.
• Knowledge of cost reporting, forecasts, and commercial risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Contract Administration: manage FIDIC Yellow Book compliance, notices, and records.
• Commercial Management: develop cost reporting, forecasts, and cash flow.
• Variations and Change Management: evaluate, price, and negotiate changes.
• Claims and Risk Management: assess EOT, costs, and contractor claims.
