Job summary

Kenna Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial delivery of a £200m data centre development in Borehamwood. Kicking off in January, this high-tech scheme offers a long-term lifecycle and a salary up to £110,000.

This role involves taking commercial ownership from pre-construction through final accounts, managing sub-contractor packages, and driving profitability on a flagship infrastructure project.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management is required.
• Proven experience as a Senior QS with a Tier-1 or Tier-2 main contractor.
• Experience in data centres, pharmaceutical, industrial, or M&E-heavy projects is advantageous.
• Strong negotiation skills and contractual awareness.

A premier, Tier-1 main contractor is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial delivery of a massive £200m data centre development in Borehamwood.

Kicking off this January, this high-tech scheme offers a long-term project lifecycle, a highly competitive salary up to £110,000, and a clear path to Commercial Manager within an expanding hyper-scale division.

The Role

You will take commercial ownership of this major development from pre-construction through to final accounts, managing sub-contractor packages and driving profitability.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience as a Senior QS (or an ambitious QS ready to step up) with a Tier-1 or Tier-2 main contractor.
• Previous experience in data centres, pharmaceutical, industrial, or M&E-heavy projects is highly advantageous.
• A degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
• Strong negotiation skills and deep contractual awareness.
