I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor / Managing Quantity Surveyor to join a specialist contractor working on one of the UK’s flagship new-build data centre projects in Northumberland.
This is a major, high-profile development involving significant substation and critical power infrastructure, and the successful candidate will play a key role in the commercial delivery of these packages across the wider scheme.
The business is experiencing a period of significant growth and has an excellent pipeline of work within the data centre, power and wider critical infrastructure sectors.
As SQS / MQS, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of major substation builds, working closely with the project leadership team, client, consultants and supply chain.
You’ll be involved across areas including:
Ideally, you’ll have experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Managing Quantity Surveyor for a Tier 1 contractor or similarly well-established specialist contractor, delivering major construction or infrastructure projects.
Substation and critical power experience would be highly advantageous, given the nature of the project.
