Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Birmingham is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Midlands team, delivering high-value infrastructure programmes for public and private clients. You will lead on commercial aspects, advise clients, and collaborate with supply chains to maximise value.

You will work in a flexible, hybrid environment with opportunities for development, continuing professional growth, and exposure to national projects. A degree in QS and RICS or working towards membership is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with major programmes and complex infrastructure.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent knowledge/experience.
• RICS membership or progression towards.
• Familiarity with NEC/JCT/FIDIC contracts and advising clients on their applications.
• Ability to work in client-facing environments with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management experience.

Responsibilities

• Work across a range of projects supporting clients on complex, high-value programmes.
• Collaborate with clients and supply chain partners to develop and deliver solutions to complex problems.
• Provide commercial, procurement and supply chain advice to maximise value.
• Develop relationships with national infrastructure clients and grow opportunities.
• Lead and contribute to bid writing and pre-contract engagement.
