Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the UK is seeking a Senior/Managing Quantity Surveyor to shape major infrastructure programmes across utilities, defence, aviation, energy, highways and rail. You will work directly with client teams, often through secondments of six months to several years, within a collaborative and flexible environment.

Qualifications

• Member, or working towards membership, of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or equivalent.
• Degree in a relevant subject (e.g. Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering).
• Experience in civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience with NEC, ICC, FIDIC, or JCT contracts.
• Experience coaching and mentoring junior colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client teams and stakeholders to maintain strong relationships.
• Monitor and control project costs, validating payments to contractors.
• Provide regular financial reporting to clients and project leadership.
• Undertake procurement activities or support procurement teams.
• Administer contracts and manage change, ensuring compliance and records.
