Job summary

Tilbury Douglas is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial responsibility for project sections or multiple smaller projects in the Thames Valley area. You will lead financial delivery, manage commercial risk, and uphold governance while working with clients and subcontractors.

You will apply expertise in cost reporting, forecasting and final accounts, with proven subcontract procurement and contract negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in financial and contractual management of live projects to final account.
• Strong cost/value reporting, forecasting, risk assessment and cash collection.
• Proven ability to procure and manage major works subcontract packages and draft contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day commercial management of projects with accurate reporting and forecasting of financial performance and risk.
• Manage subcontract procurement, contracts, payments and performance to achieve successful outcomes.
• Prepare and manage valuations, payment applications, cost claims and final accounts with timely reporting.
