Job summary

Neville Special Projects Limited is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to join a busy, friendly team on a permanent basis. You will manage day-to-day quantity surveying and commercial management on projects up to £15,000,000, liaising with project management teams and ensuring contract compliance.

Role involves procurement, change control, monthly CVR reporting, and maintaining client/consultant relations. Requires CSCS, UK driving licence, and 5+ years' experience with contractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' similar experience with a contractor.
• CSCS card with evidence of competence (e.g., related qualification).
• HND or degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent).
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication with external and internal teams.
• Experience with JCT/NEC forms of contract.
• Experience producing monthly cost reporting and CVRs.
• Ability to manage procurement and subcontract accounts.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, reconcile, validate and report against contract sums or cost plans.
• Produce monthly cost reconciliation reports and CVRs.
• Procure subcontractors and manage procurement budgets.
• Submit monthly applications for payment and negotiate certifications.
• Manage change orders and price changes for best value.
• Conclude commercial functions to final account.
• Develop and maintain client and consultant relationships.
