AJ Group is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor in the civil engineering sector to lead commercial delivery and mentor junior staff. You will oversee cost reporting, forecasting and risk management across multiple packages, coordinating with project teams and subcontractors to maximise value.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, with strong civil engineering experience and proficiency in NEC contracts, plus excellent communication and analytical skills.

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Strong commercial experience within construction or civil engineering.
• Experience with NEC contracts and managing risks and opportunities.
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience mentoring junior commercial staff.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the commercial delivery of assigned work packages.
• Maintain accurate cost reporting, forecasting and cash-flow information.
• Manage subcontractor accounts, valuations and final accounts.
• Handle early warnings and compensation events.
• Identify and record project changes and commercial risks.
• Provide commercial advice to project teams and review documentation.
• Assist tender documentation and subcontractor procurement.
• Support claims preparation and dispute avoidance.
