Job summary

RTL Group Ltd in London is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial ownership of projects across the capital, on a permanent, office-based basis, from tender through final account. You will lead subcontract procurement and package management, own monthly cost value reconciliation, manage changes and claims, and report to senior management while mentoring junior commercial staff.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor.
• Strong command of NEC and JCT, including change control.
• Experience on groundworks packages desirable.
• Experience delivering projects independently and reporting on commercial performance.

Responsibilities

• Take full commercial responsibility for projects from tender to final account.
• Lead subcontract procurement, negotiation and package management.
• Own monthly cost value reconciliation and reporting to senior management.
• Manage change, compensation events and claims.
• Support and mentor junior commercial staff.
• Contract administration under NEC and JCT, including notices and early warnings.
