Job summary

Bimplus, a specialist property and construction consultancy based in Woking, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen its established team. The role focuses on live remediation schemes, including cladding replacement and façade works, requiring close collaboration with clients, consultants and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate will manage pre- and post-contract duties with minimal supervision and have strong commercial judgement.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related construction discipline
• Strong UK Quantity Surveying or cost consultancy experience
• MRICS status or working towards chartership advantageous

Responsibilities

• Preparing cost plans, estimates and budgets for cladding and remediation schemes
• Producing tender documentation and managing contractor procurement
• Reviewing valuations, variations, change control and payment applications
• Managing project expenditure and producing detailed cost reports
• Negotiating final accounts and resolving commercial matters
• Advising clients on procurement, contractual and commercial strategy
• Attending project meetings and carrying out site inspections
• Managing commissions independently from appointment through to completion

Education
