Job summary

CroftAssociates, a North of England based construction and utility infrastructure specialist, seeks Managing & Senior Quantity Surveyors for Civils and Utilities. The role provides contract expertise from pre to post construction, ensuring value, risk control and cashflow across projects.

You will lead procurement, manage subcontracts and work with commercial, operations and finance teams to hit deadlines and targets, while mentoring junior team members in a dynamic growth environment.

Qualifications

• CSCS accreditation is required.
• Degree in quantity surveying or 10+ years experience.
• RICS/CICES/ICE membership desirable.
• Experience on civils projects up to £20m.

Responsibilities

• Provide contractual and commercial expertise supporting site teams from pre to post construction.
• Ensure value is maximised and cashflow is maintained; mitigate risks.
• Manage procurement deliverables through effective supply chain communication and analysis.
• Collaborate with commercial, operations, finance and support leads to meet reporting deadlines.
• Lead management, procurement and implementation of subcontracts.
• Liaise with external stakeholders and clients for best commercial outcomes.
• Mentor trainee/assistant QS staff by sharing experience.
