Job summary

Progressive is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support Grid Infrastructure delivery in a utilities/civil engineering context. You will manage commercial aspects, cost reporting, and subcontract activities on a major project.

The role requires NEC contracts experience, strong forecasting skills, and a background across utilities, energy, or civil engineering sectors. Hybrid working applies in the UK.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience at Senior Quantity Surveyor level.
• Experience in Utilities, Energy or Civil Engineering environments.
• Strong NEC contract knowledge.
• Experience with subcontract management, procurement and cost/value reporting.
• Strong forecasting and commercial reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Commercial management of infrastructure projects.
• Client liaison and stakeholder management.
• Management of AFPs, compensation events, and change control.
• Cost forecasting, CVR reporting, and monthly commercial reporting.
• Subcontract procurement and account management.
• NEC contract administration.
• Supporting material and plant procurement activities.
