Job summary

MWH Treatment is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen our Commercial team in Chatham. You will report to the Commercial Manager and take responsibility for the commercial management of projects.

Key duties include managing project costs, liaising with design and construction teams, and overseeing subcontractor performance. Applicants should have a degree or equivalent and relevant MEICA/civil experience, with NEC3 familiarity and leadership potential.

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent is required.
Working towards or being Chartered is preferred.
Experience in utilities/civil engineering/MEICA sectors is essential.
NEC3 contract experience is a must.
Experience in managing or developing a small team is desirable.

Responsibilities

Quantity surveying duties and management of projects and work packages.
Liaise with design, construction and supply chain to capture, analyse and control cost.
Collaborate with client to meet business requirements.
Manage main contract, notices and correspondence.
Prepare and issue subcontract documentation.
Assist in managing and evaluating subcontractors.
Prepare and agree applications for payment.
Prepare project cost and value reports, budgets and forecasts.
Develop junior commercial staff.
