Job summary

United Infrastructure Group in Scotland is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead day-to-day commercial administration of civil works on a major construction and infrastructure project in the Highlands. You will manage contracts, costs, payments and commercial risk with NEC3 framework.

The role requires a BSc in Quantity Surveying, NEC3 experience, and strong Excel skills, with travel across the Highlands. Permanent, full-time on-site role with a focus on cost control and reporting.

Qualifications

• BSc in Quantity Surveying or related commercial discipline.
• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a commercial role.
• Experience with NEC3 contracts and civils or construction.
• Strong Excel and cost reporting abilities.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day commercial administration of civils elements.
• Manage contracts, costs, payments and commercial risk.
• Prepare and manage applications for payment for clients and subcontractors.
• Forecasting accuracy and performance reporting across accounts.
• Produce Earned Value Analysis and CVR reports.
• Support Commercial Manager with visibility of project position.
