Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying, solid industry experience, and proficiency with CostX or Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Solid experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and commercial management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in CostX, Bluebeam or similar tools.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Cost estimation for construction projects, including materials, labour and equipment.
• Contract administration: review, negotiate terms, assess variations and ensure compliance.
• Cost control: monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Claims management: evaluate claims for extensions of time and variations.
• Final accounts: coordinate measurement, valuation and settlements.
• Collaboration with project teams, clients and subcontractors to support project success.
