Job summary

A leading civil engineering contractor is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor in Northamptonshire. This role involves supporting the commercial delivery of diverse infrastructure projects with values ranging from £200k to £10m+. The ideal candidate will manage cost efficiency, stakeholder relationships, and ensure compliance with contracts. A competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000 is on offer, along with progression opportunities in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the construction or civil engineering sector.
• Working knowledge of NEC / ICE contracts and Construction Law.
• Experience managing subcontractors including measurement and certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate cost, value and cash flow reporting.
• Manage cost control, earned value analysis and prepare applications for payment.
• Build effective client and stakeholder relationships.

Education

HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying

Membership of RICS or relevant professional body
