Appoint is recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established Civil Engineering contractor based in Exeter. This office-based role sits at the heart of the commercial team, supporting project managers across Devon’s infrastructure programme.

You will manage valuations, final accounts and subcontractor payments under NEC4 contracts, with a focus on profitability, risk management and timely delivery.

Competenze

• Proven experience as Senior Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering.
• Experience with NEC4 contracts.
• Experience delivering civil/infrastructure projects.
• Strong commercial awareness and contractual knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Water or wastewater experience advantageous but not essential.

Mansioni

• Commercial management of civil projects under NEC4 contracts.
• Manage valuations, payment applications, compensation events and final accounts.
• Procurement, management and payments of subcontractors.
• Prepare cost forecasts, CVRs and commercial reports.
• Manage commercial risks and opportunities to maximise profitability.
• Collaborate with project managers and site teams to deliver successfully.
