Job summary

Borne Resourcing Limited is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a flagship residential-led, self-delivery project in South-East London. You will own the commercial on site, managing procurement, CVRs, forecasting and cost reporting to drive cost control and value across the programme.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years with a major contractor, a degree in QS or related discipline, and a track record as the on-site lead.

Qualifications

• Degree educated in Quantity Surveying or a construction-related discipline.
• 7-10 years' experience with a Tier 1, 2, or 3 main contractor.
• Experience acting as the No.1 commercial lead on site.

Responsibilities

• Take full commercial responsibility (design & build, self-delivery model).
• Manage procurement of materials and subcontractors from pre-construction through to final account.
• Lead CVRs, forecasting, and cost reporting for the site.
• Work closely with delivery and design teams to ensure smooth progress and cost control.
• Provide technical insight and commercial leadership across the wider project team.

The Role

Take full commercial responsibility (design & build, self-delivery model)

• Provide technical insight and commercial leadership across the wider project team

What they're looking for

Degree educated in Quantity Surveying or a construction-related discipline

• 7-10 years' experience with a Tier 1, 2, or 3 main contractor
• Experience acting as the No.1 commercial lead on site
• Technically minded, detail-driven, and confident in problem-solving
• Background in self-delivery or mixed-use D&B projects preferred
• Not from a traditional housebuilding background
