Job summary

Connect Legal Partners, a UK-based construction consultancy, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead projects, supervise QS team, and manage client relationships with the design team.

You will deliver QS and project management services on your own schemes, act as Employer's Agent or Contract Administrator when required, oversee multiple projects, and contribute to winning new work while running training and CPD sessions.

Qualifications

• BSc in quantity surveying, construction cost management or equivalent.
• MRICS with commitment to achieve within two years.
• Experience running own consultancy projects, including large schemes.
• Driving licence and own car.

Responsibilities

The role

You will lead construction projects and supervise quantity surveyors, assistants and trainees, with line management duties. You will be the main contact for clients and the design team, deliver QS and project management services on your own projects, and act as Employer's Agent or Contract Administrator where needed. You will manage several projects at once, look after key client accounts, run training and CPD sessions and help win new work.

What you will need

A BSc in quantity surveying, construction cost management or similar. MRICS, or a commitment to reach it within two years. Solid consultancy experience running your own projects, including larger and more complex schemes. CostX, strong negotiation and analytical skills, line management experience, and a driving licence with your own car.
