Job summary

Carriera Recruitment is assisting a London-based independent construction consultancy to recruit a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor. The role combines office/site work with two days at home in a hybrid pattern, offering ownership of select projects and closer client interaction.

You will engage with Partners, manage cost planning, valuations and tender processes, and progress within a collaborative team setting that values development and a clear career path.

Qualifications

• Experience in consultancy Quantity Surveying or Cost Management.
• Strong pre-and post-contract grounding.
• Comfortable working directly with clients.
• QS or Senior QS level.
• MRICS advantageous but not essential.
• Ambitious and keen to progress within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Quantity Surveying services across the project lifecycle.
• Prepare cost plans and early-stage cost advice.

Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor

Salary: Competitive depending on experience

Hybrid: 3 days office/site, 2 days home

Carriera is working with an established independent construction consultancy looking to strengthen one of its London Cost Management teams.

The team is exceptionally busy across a varied portfolio, including film studios, heritage schemes and wider property projects, and is looking for a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor who can provide additional delivery capability.

Unlike some senior appointments, chartership is not essential. The consultancy is open to an established QS looking for a step up as well as someone already operating at Senior level.

You will work closely with experienced Partners and have the opportunity to take ownership of projects while developing your client-facing and technical experience.
