Job summary

EA First is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor in the United Kingdom to deliver pre- and post-contract services for a growing construction consultancy. You will lead cost planning, procurement, contract advice, and manage budgets, valuations, and final accounts.

You'll build strong client relationships, review reports, handle disputes, and support business growth. A degree and experience in a construction consultancy are preferred; RICS membership is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified with professional accreditation (RICS preferred).
• Experience as a quantity surveyor in a construction consultancy.
• Strong commercial and technical skills with proactive, organised communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead on cost planning, procurement, and contract advice.
• Manage budgets, valuations, and final accounts.
• Perform quantity surveying, estimating and cost plans.
• Prepare contracts, risk management advice and meet clients.
• Price tender submissions and manage bid submissions.
• Build client relationships and resolve disputes.
• Produce reports, claims and dispute resolutions.
• Support business growth and promote the brand.
