• Demonstrable experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in civils or groundworks.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage up to 3 live projects at varying stages of delivery.
• Oversee valuations, variations, cost reporting, and final accounts.
• Administer subcontract packages and manage procurement processes.
• Ensure compliance with contracts and client requirements.

Job description

A leading Civils & Groundworks contractor is seeking a proven Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team, supporting the commercial delivery of multiple high-profile projects across London. With a strong pipeline of work, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing up to three live projects, with scopes covering groundworks, basements, and concrete frame packages.

This Senior Quantity Surveyor role will be split between the company's Ealing-based head office and various project sites across North, West, and Central London.

About the Role of Senior Quantity Surveyor
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll take ownership of all commercial aspects across several civils packages. You will work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and the commercial leadership to ensure each project is commercially sound and contractually compliant.

Responsibilities for Senior Quantity Surveyor

• Manage up to 3 live projects at varying stages of delivery
• Oversee valuations, variations, cost reporting and final accounts
• Administer subcontract packages and manage procurement processes
• Attend site and progress meetings with project stakeholders
• Work closely with the commercial and operations teams to ensure alignment
• Ensure compliance with contracts and client requirements

Requirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor

• Demonstrable experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in civils or groundworks
• Strong knowledge of groundworks, concrete frames, and/or basement construction
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Strong contractual knowledge (NEC, JCT) and commercial acumen
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across London as required
