The successful candidate will play a key role in cost estimation, contract management, and financial control for various M&E projects. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for M&E projects.
  • Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and measurements from drawings and specifications.
  • Manage procurement processes, including subcontractor and supplier negotiations.
  • Monitor project costs, variations, and valuations to ensure cost control.
  • Provide commercial advice to project teams and senior management.
  • Evaluate and manage claims, change orders, and final accounts.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports and financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and contractual requirements.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in M&E quantity surveying.
  • Strong knowledge of cost estimation, procurement, and contract administration in the M&E sector.
  • Proficiency in relevant QS software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects remotely.
  • Familiarity with standard contracts (e.g., NEC, JCT, FIDIC) is a plus.
