• Participer au développement et à la formation des membres juniors de l'équipe commerciale.

Job description

We are looking to strengthen our Commercial team with a Senior Quantity Surveyor based at Testwood WTW with hybrid working available.

You will report directly to the Commercial Manager and be responsible for the Commercial Management of Project(s).

Key responsibilities will include:

1. Quantity surveying duties in respect of managing projects and work packages
2. Liaise with design, construction, and supply chain teams to capture, analyze, and control costs
3. Collaborate with the client to ensure business requirements are met
4. Manage the main contract, ensuring contractual notices and correspondence are identified and raised as necessary
5. Prepare and issue subcontract documentation
6. Assist in managing and evaluating subcontractors
7. Manage the preparation and agreement of applications for payment
8. Prepare project cost & value reports, budgets, and forecasts
9. Assist in managing and developing junior commercial staff
10. Ensure continuous professional development by participating in external networking, conferences, associations, or groups to stay current on industry changes and innovations
11. Maintain a positive, solution-oriented approach, providing open and honest feedback
12. Undertake other duties, training, and hours of work as reasonably required, consistent with the role's responsibilities
13. Present a professional and positive image in all internal and external contacts, maintaining constructive relationships
14. Ensure appropriate confidentiality at all times
