Job summary

Versa Consulting Limited is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support a robust Bristol pipeline across civil engineering and groundworks. This permanent role offers broad commercial responsibility on multiple projects, with subcontract management, interim valuations and final accounts.

You will manage costs, forecasts and variations, liaise with site teams and clients, and contribute to a growing, privately owned contractor with strong order book and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as Quantity Surveyor in civils or groundworks.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts.
• Experience managing projects from start to final account.
• Commercially astute with cost management independence.

A well-established civil engineering and groundworks contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support a strong pipeline of secured work across Bristol.

This is a permanent role within a profitable, privately owned business delivering infrastructure, roads, bulk earthworks and groundworks packages for residential and commercial developments.

The Role

• Full commercial responsibility for multiple projects
• Subcontract procurement and management
• Interim valuations and applications for payment
• Cost reporting and forecasting
• Variations and change control
• Final accounts
• Liaising with site teams and clients

Requirements

• Proven Quantity Surveyor experience within civils or groundworks
• Strong knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts
• Experience managing projects from start to final account
• Commercially astute and confident managing costs independently
