JAM Recruitment Ltd in Bristol is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a permanent, full-time, hybrid role. You will deliver cost management, manage contracts and guide project finances across high-profile UK developments, aligning with a supportive team and career development.

Ideal candidates hold a Quantity Surveying degree, MRICS or on track to chartership, and have consultancy experience with JCT/NEC contracts, strong commercial acumen and stakeholder skills. Driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Chartered MRICS or working towards chartership.
• Proven consultancy-side Quantity Surveying experience.
• Strong knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts.
• Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills.
• Confident client-facing and stakeholder management abilities.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• Experience within the retail sector would be desirable.
• A full UK driving licence.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will join a respected multi-disciplinary consultancy in Bristol, operating on a permanent, full-time basis with hybrid working. This role involves delivering cost management and commercial advice across a diverse portfolio of high-profile UK developments, from inception to completion. You will manage contracts, oversee project finances, and provide strategic guidance to ensure successful delivery. With a salary of £60,000 to £65,000 per annum, this position suits an experienced professional ready to progress within a supportive, established team. The consultancy combines larger-firm resources with a close-knit culture, offering a balanced environment for career development.

The Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of projects across a range of sectors, managing costs, contracts and commercial performance while building strong client relationships.
