Job summary

Advance TRS in Bristol is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the growth of its Bristol office within a leading infrastructure consultancy delivering highways, rail, water and utilities.

You will lead the commercial delivery from inception to completion, develop client relationships, manage costs, NEC contracts, compensation events, and mentor junior surveyors. Hybrid working with up to £65,000 salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Senior Quantity Surveying experience in infrastructure projects.
• Experience with NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4).
• Consultancy, contractor, or client-side exposure.
• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

A leading infrastructure consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the continued growth of its Bristol office.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business delivering major infrastructure projects across Highways, Rail, Water and Utilities, offering genuine variety and long-term career progression within a collaborative consultancy environment.

The Role

Working as part of an experienced commercial team, you'll lead the commercial delivery of infrastructure projects from inception through to completion while developing strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Cost planning and cost management
• NEC3 & NEC4 contract administration
• Managing compensation events
• Commercial reporting and forecasting
• Procurement support
• Valuation and payment assessments
• Client relationship management
• Supporting and mentoring junior surveyors

What We're Looking For

• Proven Senior Quantity Surveying experience
• Infrastructure project background
• NEC contract experience
• Consultancy, contractor or client-side experience
• Strong commercial acumen
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritiesExperience across Rail, Highways, Water, Utilities or wider Infrastructure is highly desirable.
