Job summary

RGB Recruitment is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a respected multi-disciplinary consultancy in Bristol. In this role, you will manage costs, contracts, and commercial performance across a range of sectors, from inception through to completion, while building strong client relationships.

The successful candidate will hold a degree in Quantity Surveying, be MRICS or working towards chartership, and bring consultancy-side experience with knowledge of JCT/NEC contracts.

Qualifications

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Chartered status (MRICS) or working towards chartership.
• Proven consultancy-side Quantity Surveying experience.
• Strong knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts.
• Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills.
• Confident client-facing and stakeholder management abilities.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• Experience within the retail sector would be desirable.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Providing pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying services.
• Producing cost plans, estimates and feasibility studies.
• Managing procurement and tender processes.
• Preparing tender documentation and contract particulars.
• Contract administration and change control management.
• Undertaking valuations, cost reporting and final account negotiations.

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

The Role
