Job summary

Certain Advantage is partnering with a large organisation to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor responsible for the civil works scope, including two substations and related buildings in the Aberdeen area.

You will lead large subcontracts, oversee groundworks, steel and envelope packages, and ensure commercial and contractual compliance under NEC3 Option A.

This role offers the chance to contribute to major UK infrastructure projects with a focus on precision and cost control.

Qualifications

• Experience with large subcontract management under NEC3 Option A contracts.
• Familiarity with CEAR software for subcontract administration preferred.
• Civils/substation project exposure is advantageous.

• The scope includes constructing two substations and various minor buildings.
• You will focus on the civil works aspects, specifically managing large subcontracts, including groundworks and steel/envelope packages.

Your Background:

• Experience with large subcontract management under NEC3 Option A contracts.

During the Interview, We May Ask You About:

• Experience with the "CEAR" software package for subcontract administration is preferred.
