Job summary

Certain Advantage is partnering with a large organisation to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor for Aberdeen, offering hybrid working with 2 days per week at home. You will take responsibility for civil works, concentrating on two substations and associated minor buildings, and you’ll manage key subcontracts from pre-construction onward.

The ideal candidate has experience managing large subcontracts under NEC3 Option A and familiarity with the CEAR software for subcontract

• Familiarity with CEAR software for subcontract administration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage two substations and related buildings as main civil subcontracts.

The Project:

• The project is currently in the pre-construction stage.
• The scope includes constructing two substations and various minor buildings.
• You will focus on the civil works aspects, specifically managing large subcontracts, including groundworks and steel/envelope packages.

Your Background:

• Experience with large subcontract management under NEC3 Option A contracts.

During the Interview, We May Ask You About:

• Experience with the "CEAR" software package for subcontract administration is preferred.
